Currently, the HPM-2 is the smallest permanent magnet degausser available. Simply insert the media into the drawer and rotate the effortless handle. The media is pulled inside the degausser where it passes a shielded permanent magnet that completely sanitizes the media.
ERASURE
Superior magnetic field strength exceeds DoD requirements for purging classified information. Independent scientific testing confirms this degausser erases Longitudinal Magnetic Recorded (LMR) and Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded (PMR) hard disk media with a coercivity of 5000 Oersteds and magnetic tape media with a coercivity of 3000 Oersteds.*
